How do I create a post?

Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen. Choose 2 or 4 photos, add a caption, select a category, and post! Your neighbors will start voting right away.

How does voting work?

Browse the feed and tap on the option you prefer (A, B, C, or D). Results are revealed after the 4-hour countdown ends. You earn points for every vote you cast.

How do I earn badges?

Badges are earned by being an active, helpful community member. Vote regularly, maintain your daily check-in streak, invite neighbors, and receive thank-you notes to unlock badges and become a verified expert.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Tap the three-dot menu (•••) on any post or comment and select "Report." Our moderation team reviews all reports. Content that receives multiple reports is automatically hidden.

How do I block a user?

Tap the three-dot menu (•••) on a user's post and select "Block User." You will no longer see their posts or comments.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile > Settings > Privacy & Data > Delete My Account & Data. This permanently removes all your data within 30 days, including posts, votes, comments, and photos.

How do I export my data?

Go to Profile > Settings > Privacy & Data > Export My Data. Your data will be compiled into a JSON file that you can save or share.

What languages are supported?

HelpVote is available in 8 languages: English, German, French, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Italian, and Polish. The app automatically uses your device language.
